Welcome to The Alo Greenhouse! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or purchasing from our shop, you agree to these Terms.
1. General
The Alo Greenhouse is a Swiss-based business operated by Norah Marty. All orders, deliveries, and transactions are subject to Swiss law.
2. Products and Availability
We sell live plants (primarily Alocasias) and plant-related accessories. Availability may vary, and we reserve the right to limit quantities or update product details at any time. Please note that plants are natural products, so variations in size, shape, and color are normal.
3. Orders and Payment
All prices are listed in Swiss Francs (CHF). Payments are processed securely through Shopify’s payment providers. Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed.
4. Shipping and Delivery
Orders are shipped via Swiss Post. Please allow a few days for order preparation before dispatch. Delivery times depend on Swiss Post and are usually 2–4 business days within Switzerland. Delays may occur, especially during busy periods.
We currently only ship within Switzerland.
5. Returns and Refunds
Due to the nature of live plants, returns are not accepted once plants leave our care. If your plant arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the plant and packaging. Cases will be reviewed, and replacements or partial refunds may be offered at our discretion.
Non-living products (such as accessories) may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Liability
We are not responsible for issues caused by improper care, unsuitable environmental conditions, or neglect once the plant has been delivered. Care guides and tips are provided for informational purposes only.
7. Privacy
Your personal information is used solely to process your order and will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law or necessary for payment/shipping. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts at the business’s registered location, subject to mandatory consumer protection rights.
